We never wanted to open a hotel
We imagined the place in which we would like to be welcomed. A place with only two lodges, enough silence to forget the outside world and enough time to receive each traveler ourselves

Souki was born from a very simple desire
That of creating a place that looks neither quite like a hotel nor quite like a guest house. An intimate place, open to nature, where we could welcome few travelers and truly take care of everyone.
We chose Cabrières, at the heart of Hérault, for its vines, its scrubland and the Pic de Vissou that accompanies each day. Before even imagining the lodges, we were already attached to this land, to its light and its way of living.
This is where Souki found its place.
A founding choice
Two lodges. No more
We could have built more. We preferred to preserve calm, space and this rare feeling of having nature almost to oneself.
Two lodges allow us to continue to personally welcome each traveler, prepare dinners, put together experiences and remain attentive to the details that truly transform a stay.
Each lodge has its own private heated pool, terrace and skyline. No common space. No place to share. Just your refuge and time to enjoy it.
We have never sought to receive more. Only to receive better.
Our way of doing things
Be there. Then know how to erase ourselves
When you arrive at Souki, there is no counter or impersonal reception. It is one of us who opens the gate for you, accompanies you to your lodge and shows you the place.
We remain available throughout your stay, to book a massage, prepare a surprise, share an address or simply answer a question.
But we also know how to disappear. Because once installed, what you need most is calm, privacy and freedom.
Our role is simple: be present when necessary, then let the place do the rest.
From our kitchen to your lodge
While you enjoy, we cook
In the evening, we compose and prepare your dinner ourselves. We cook to the rhythm of the seasons, with harvests from our vegetable garden and fresh, local and organic products from producers we know.
In the morning, the bread Loïc, eggs from our chickens, jams from La Fée Confiot, our homemade yogurts and the AOP pélardon from the Mas Rolland join your breakfast.
These names matter to us. Behind each product, there is a person, know-how and a relationship built over time.
We then serve you dinner in your lodge. There is no restaurant, no neighboring table and no time to share with other travelers. Only yours.

The lodge is just the beginning
We imagined Souki so that you can fully experience your stay without having to leave your refuge: massages in your lodge, Janzu in your pool, yoga on your terrace, breakfast in your tea and coffee station and the dinner that we bring you.
These experiences are not options added to one night. They are part of the way we designed the place: a stay designed according to your desires, where each moment comes naturally to you.
At our place, at Cabrières
A place also belongs to the country that surrounds it
Souki is deeply linked to Cabrières and to this part of the Hérault. The Pic de Vissou watches over the domain; Lake Salagou, Mourèze, vineyards and the Mediterranean define the surroundings.
We happily share the trails we hike, the areas we love, and the places we would choose ourselves to spend a day. And if you ultimately prefer not to leave your pool, we will understand that perfectly.

We are pleased with the distinctions received by Souki and grateful to the guides who chose to talk about the place.
But what touches us the most are the travelers who return. Those who find their lodge, their habits and that special feeling experienced during their first stay. Because a place really starts to matter when you want to come back.
