Data we collect

This site is a showcase site. We do not collect any personal data without your knowledge.

When you contact us by email or telephone, we keep the information you send us (name, contact details, information relating to your stay) for the sole purpose of responding to your request and organizing your visit.

Reservations

When you make a reservation, the data necessary for its processing is transmitted to Reservit, a solution published by Interface Technologies, a simplified joint stock company registered with the Marseille RCS under number 415 310 655, whose head office is located Actiparc 1, Bâtiment 5, 9001 boulevard Claude Antonetti, 13821 La Penne-sur-Huveaune.

This data is processed in order to record your reservation, manage your payment and prepare your stay. You can consult the Reservit privacy policy.

Newsletter

When you choose to receive news from Souki, your email address is sent to Brevo, our newsletter service. Your subscription only becomes active after you click the confirmation link received by email. This processing is based on your consent.

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link included in every message. Your email address is kept until you unsubscribe or withdraw your consent.

Gift cards

When you order a gift card, the necessary data is processed by SecretBox®, a solution published by API & YOU, a company registered under SIREN number 537 487 654, whose head office is located at 27 Grande Rue, 39800 Poligny.

This information is used exclusively to process the order, ensure payment and enable the issuance and use of the gift card. Information relating to data protection is available in the SecretBox legal notices.

Purposes and legal basis

Your data is used to respond to your requests, manage your reservation and your stay, and comply with our legal and accounting obligations. The processing is based on the execution of the contract or on your consent.

Retention period

Requests for information are kept for three years from the last contact. The data linked to a reservation are kept for the legal periods applicable in accounting and tax matters.

Recipients

Your personal data is neither sold nor transferred to third parties.

They may be transmitted, to the strict extent necessary for the service, to our technical and commercial service providers, in particular:

• Cloudflare, for site hosting and security;
• Reservit, for managing availability and reservations;
• SecretBox, for ordering and managing gift cards;
• Brevo, for subscription management and newsletter delivery;
• our payment providers, when their intervention is necessary.
• Meta Platforms, for campaign measurement and personalised advertising, only after you have given consent;
• Google, for audience and advertising measurement when enabled, only after you have given consent.

These service providers process the data in accordance with their contractual obligations and applicable regulations.

Transfers outside the European Union

Some of our service providers, including Cloudflare, Meta and Google, may process data from countries outside the European Economic Area. When such transfers take place, they are governed by the mechanisms provided for by the GDPR, in particular an adequacy decision or the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

Cookies

On your first visit, no audience-measurement or personalised-advertising tracker is loaded before you make a choice. You may accept all, refuse all or select each purpose separately.

If you accept personalised advertising, Souki’s Meta Pixel may measure pages viewed and selected actions — including clicks to booking, gift cards, telephone or email — to assess our campaigns and create advertising audiences on Instagram and Facebook. Google Analytics 4 measures the audience only if you have accepted audience-measurement cookies.

Your choice is stored for no more than six months. You can change or withdraw it at any time through the “Manage my cookies” link in the footer.

External services accessible from the site — notably Reservit for reservations and SecretBox for gift cards — may set their own cookies when you consult their interfaces. Their use is governed by the privacy and cookie policies of these providers.

Your rights

In accordance with the GDPR, you have a right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability of your data. To exercise it, write to us at contact@souki-lodges.com. You can also submit a complaint to the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
